She claims to be “Native” American and yet there has been no proof. The New England Historical Genealogical Society (which originally said they located a marriage license saying her great-great-great grandmother was Cherokee) have said that they have no documents to prove that she is. It’s even been found that her great-great-great grandfather was part of a militia that rounded up Cherokee Indians, removing them from their homes. How ironic.
